Phoenix, AZ – Following the successful launch of its IP-APX PoE+ Indoor/Outdoor IP Horn, AtlasIED proudly announces the product’s latest recognition as a recipient of Security Today’s New Product of the Year award. The IP-APX Horn joins a highly-acclaimed list of the latest security innovations for 2022.
Security Today is a Dallas, Texas-based, industry-leading, security publication for security dealers, integrators and end-users showcasing the latest news and innovations in the industry. The Security Today New Product of the Year Award honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are considered to be particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve security.
“After hosting this New Product of the Year program, I am struck with the intense effort by manufacturers, who exceed last year’s entries. We are fortunate to have so many entries and applaud every entry for the ingenuity and painstaking efforts to ensure the security business is meeting the technology challenges,” said Ralph C. Jensen, Editor in Chief of Security Today Magazine. New Product of the Year confirms to me that the best and the brightest are completely invested in their craft and have strategic plans to bring new technology to the forefront.”
“The IPX IP-APX was developed to bridge the coverage gap in communications in outdoor, loud, and specialty environments which typically require additional audio power due to high ambient noise levels and unique environmental requirements,” said Alex Puorro, VP of IP Endpoints, AtlasIED. “Our team could not be more honored to receive such high recognition from the Security Today team. We look forward to driving this momentum forward as we follow our mission to protect, inform and entertain.”
Introduced in June 2022 and part of the AtlasIED IPX Family of IP Endpoints, the IP-APX loudspeaker is IP-56 rated, weather-resistant, and can be wall or pole mounted for positioning at parking lots, athletic fields, and other areas where day-to-day communications and critical emergency notifications must be delivered with highly intelligible audio quality and coverage.
